(“Design Travel”), which operates from Toronto, Canada. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a purchase, as they form part of the binding contract between you and Design Travel under the regulation of the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO).
1. Design Travel's Responsibility
Design Travel makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information on this website. Our goal is to facilitate the verification of product and service availability, as well as to enable the booking and purchase of specialized cultural, sports, nature, health, event, and incentive travel. Upon completing a booking, you will receive an electronic invoice and the corresponding travel documents, as detailed in Section 5.
2. User Responsibility
The user certifies that they are over 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to use this site. They guarantee that all information provided is true and accurate.
It is your responsibility to verify and obtain all necessary travel documents (passports, visas, residence permits, authorization letters for minors, etc.). Design Travel is not responsible for boarding or entry refusals due to incorrect or missing documents.
3. Privacy and Confidentiality
Respect for our clients' privacy is a priority. Personal information is only shared with processing partners, airlines, tour operators, or other suppliers, solely to manage your booking and ensure the provision of the contracted services. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
4. Prices and Payment Methods
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary:
• If you reside in Ontario, according to TICO, you are entitled to cancel and receive a full refund if prices increase by more than 7% after payment, except for government increases or fuel surcharges permitted by the Canada Transportation Agency. If you are a resident of Quebec, $1 will be added to your invoice for every $1,000 of travel services purchased, representing your contribution to the Travel Agent Client Compensation Fund.
• Residents of Canada and the United States of America can pay online or by phone using Visa, American Express, or MasterCard credit cards. Some agencies may not accept all of the credit cards listed above. Travel products and services you book must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Your credit card will be debited, and you will be notified of this transaction via the invoice sent to you at the time of booking. You agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the booking, whether you have manually signed an invoice or a receipt. This transaction is final, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Neither the buyer nor the passenger may modify any details of the transaction. The booking of travel services constitutes a contract between the client and Design Travel.
5. Document Delivery
Once your purchase is confirmed, you will receive your invoice, itinerary, e-tickets, and other related documents via email. It is your responsibility to review the information received immediately and report any errors to Design Travel.
6. Travel Insurance
We recommend purchasing travel insurance, which may include cancellation coverage, international medical assistance, lost luggage coverage, and other benefits. The decision to purchase insurance is the sole responsibility of the client.
7. Liability for Services and Products
Design Travel acts as an intermediary between you and third parties (airlines, hotels, local operators, suppliers). We are not liable for damages, cancellations, delays, losses, accidents, illness, or any breach of contract by third parties. Standards outside of Canada may differ significantly.
8. Images and Website Content
Images and descriptions are for illustrative purposes only and do not form part of the contractual agreement.
9. Applicable Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada, and any dispute will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
